Brian Goff, Executive Director
Brian Goff, 37, has served as the executive director of the Hernando Main Street/Chamber of Commerce since 2002. During his tenure with the Chamber, Goff has overseen the Chamber's daily operations. His responsibilities include new and existing business development, community promotion and the creation and oversight of new membership programs and events such as the Hernando Music & Heritage Festival and Movies on the Square as well as the Chamber's Ambassador program.
A native of Tunica, Mississippi, Goff formerly served as project manager for the Tunica Main Street program while with the Tunica County Chamber of Commerce, where he was selected as one of the Top 40 Under 40 leaders by the Delta Business Journal. Prior to his work with the Tunica County Chamber, Goff served as a journalist with the DeSoto Times newspaper and a public relations account executive with the White Plains, NY-based GrowthTech Communications division of Gibbs & Soell. A 1990 graduate of Northwest Mississippi Community College and 1994 graduate of the University of Memphis, Goff holds an Associate of Arts degree and a BA in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations. He is a 1998 graduate of the DeSoto County Economic Development Council's Leadership DeSoto program, a 2004 graduate of Chamber Institute at the University of Georgia and a 2006 graduate of Mid-South Delta Leaders. Goff is a member of Hernando First Presbyterian Church. He serves as the 2007 President of the Hernando Rotary Club, is a member of the Hernando Exchange Club, and serves on the Hernando Historic Preservation Commission, as well as the American Red Cross' DeSoto County Advisory Committee. He and his wife Tammy have two children, Austin, 11, and Ally Grace, 8. "
Ruby Horton
Ruby Horton is the newest member of our staff at the Hernando Main Street Chamber of Commerce. A new resident to Hernando, Ruby is a retiree from the State of Florida.
Ruby, who has moved into the position of Office Manager with the Chamber, is the wife of Bill Horton. They have two sons, Wade and Heath.
